# Figure YLDS is now available through Tempo Earn

**_[Tempo Earn](/earn/) now supports Figure’s [YLDS](https://www.ylds.com/), giving platforms a dollar-denominated yield asset for customer balances that need to remain usable. YLDS is a registered fixed-income security that transfers onchain and accrues variable interest based on SOFR minus 35 basis points._**

Many platforms hold customer funds between transactions. A card balance may wait to be spent. A treasury balance may wait for payroll, vendor payments, or settlement. A payout balance may sit before being withdrawn.

YLDS gives platforms a way to put those balances to work while preserving onchain transferability. It is designed to maintain a fixed dollar-denominated value at issuance, transfer, and redemption. Interest accrues daily and is paid monthly.

For platforms, that makes YLDS useful for products where funds need to remain accessible: stored balances, settlement flows, treasury workflows, collateral, payouts, and payment products.

## What Tempo Earn provides

Tempo Earn helps platforms embed YLDS into customer-facing products without building a separate yield stack. Platforms can decide how YLDS fits into their product, how rewards are allocated, and how funds move between earning, spending, payouts, and withdrawals.

Tempo also provides the controls needed to operate these products at scale. Tempo Zones help keep balances and activity private. Account policies and transfer controls let platforms define how funds can move. Stablecoin-denominated fees remove the need for users to manage a separate fee token.
