Either a custodian holds them, or your own approvers do. Start here if any of these describe you: * You run an exchange or payments processor that holds many customers' funds. * Your funds sit with a custodian, such as Fireblocks. * Your team wants no single person able to move its stablecoins. ## Custody Setups | Setup | Account | Who holds the keys | Who approves a payment | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | A custodian holds your funds | [Single-key account](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/accounts/how-it-works#address) | The custodian | The custodian, through its own policies and approvals | | You hold the keys | [Team multisig](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/accounts/custodians/team-multisig), a configurable account | Your approvers | Approvers whose weights reach the threshold | Plain stablecoin transfers from a custody address work as on any EVM chain. Fee tokens, fee sponsorship, and access keys need your custodian to send [Tempo Transactions](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/guide/tempo-transaction). Ask your custodian which it supports before you plan on them for a custody address. A team multisig keeps its address when its approvers change. Until [T14](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/protocol/upgrades/t14), it runs only on the [Tempo Accounts devnet](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/accounts/create#connect-to-the-devnet). For customer deposits, an [omnibus account](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/accounts/custodians/omnibus-accounts) gives each customer a deposit address that pays into one account. [Custody partners](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/partners/wallets#custodial--institutional), such as Fireblocks, support Tempo. ## Tempo Features * **[Fee Tokens](https://tempo.xyz/developers/docs/accounts/fees/fee-tokens):** Tempo has no gas token.
