Altitude is now live on Tempo. Businesses running on Altitude, the financial operating system built around stablecoins, can now send and receive stablecoin payments on Tempo alongside the rest of their accounts, cards, payments, and finance operations.
Altitude is the financial operating system for businesses running on stablecoins. The platform consolidates multi-currency accounts, business cards, payments, FX, and finance operations on a stablecoin-native architecture, available to companies across 150+ countries. Where most business accounts are software layered on top of banks, Altitude is built around programmable accounts that businesses control directly, with stablecoins at the core of the stack.
With this release, Tempo is supported directly inside Altitude as a network for sending and receiving USDC.
What’s now live
Altitude customers can send and receive stablecoin payments on Tempo directly through the Altitude platform, with the approval flows, role-based controls, and reporting their finance teams already rely on. Bringing Tempo into the workflow means no separate wallet to set up, no new integration to maintain, and no extra reconciliation work for the operations team.
Why Tempo
Tempo is a blockchain built for payments, incubated by Stripe and Paradigm. Two capabilities matter most for the kinds of stablecoin flows Altitude’s customers run:
- Fixed, predictable fees. Every Tempo transaction costs the same, paid in stablecoins. For businesses running recurring payouts, that turns network cost into a line item finance can forecast against.
- Sub-second finality. Tempo finalizes in under a second with deterministic settlement. For operations teams reconciling against existing finance systems, that matches the certainty they get from traditional rails.
What’s next
We’re excited for Altitude to bring stablecoin payments on Tempo to its financial operating system, with more to come in the coming months.
