Chainlink Data Feeds are live on Tempo, giving businesses, institutions, and developers industry standard onchain pricing infrastructure. Applications can use these feeds to value collateral, compare FX reference rates, monitor risk, and automate financial workflows while eliminating the need to build and maintain custom oracle infrastructure. Explore the supported feeds and contract addresses.

Market data for financial applications on Tempo

Tempo is purpose-built for stablecoin payments at scale. Moving stablecoins is one part of a financial workflow. Businesses also need to determine what assets are worth, whether collateral is sufficient, how an FX quote compares with the market, and when a treasury position has moved outside policy.

Those decisions depend on external market data that a blockchain cannot generate on its own. Chainlink Data Feeds bring that data onchain for applications on Tempo. Chainlink supplies the data input, applications apply their own business logic, and Tempo provides the execution and onchain settlement layer.

What businesses can do with Data Feeds on Tempo

Manage collateral and credit

New Earn applications can use Data Feeds to value collateral, set borrowing limits, and monitor position health. For enterprises, this can support products that let stablecoin balances serve as collateral for liquidity and working capital needs.

Add guardrails to FX and liquidity workflows

Treasury and payment applications can use reference rates to compare quotes, value positions in a common reporting currency, and apply deviation or slippage limits. The feeds provide reference data, and the application on Tempo handles conversion and settlement.

Automate treasury and asset risk controls

Applications can monitor the market value of stablecoins with supported feeds, then apply policies for collateral top-ups, rebalancing, or exposure limits. The same inputs can support tokenized-asset products that need reference values for pricing, collateral, and risk management.

For institutions, this creates a common onchain reference layer for applications that need to value assets, monitor collateral, apply risk controls, or reconcile positions across currencies.

Chainlink Data Feeds aggregate market data from multiple data providers. Independent Chainlink node operators collect and aggregate observations, then publish tamper-resistant reports that smart contracts can verify on Tempo. This reduces reliance on a single exchange, data source, or node.

For developers on Tempo, the practical benefit is an industry standard data layer and no custom oracle infrastructure to build and maintain.

“Payments are the starting point for stablecoins on Tempo. Financial applications built around those payments need dependable market data to value collateral, compare exchange rates, and manage risk. Chainlink Data Feeds give developers reliable data infrastructure for those applications,” said Eric Kang, GTM at Tempo.

“We’re excited to see Tempo adopt the Chainlink data standard to power institutional-grade stablecoin use cases. Tempo is building a high-performance ecosystem for stablecoins, and Chainlink Data Feeds give its developers the reliable market data required to launch secure financial applications, expand the use of stablecoins as collateral, and accelerate their utility across onchain markets,” said Thodoris Karakostas, Director, Global Partnerships at Chainlink Labs.
