Kraken now supports deposits and withdrawals of USDT0 on Tempo, making it the first U.S. exchange to natively support the network.
Kraken clients can now move USDT0 on Tempo: sub-second settlement, fees paid in stablecoins, no separate gas token required.
USDT0 is designed to move across networks while remaining redeemable 1:1 for the underlying USDT reserve.On Tempo, dollar-denominated value moves between Kraken and Tempo wallets and applications with deterministic finality in roughly 0.6 seconds.
For exchanges, stablecoin transfers are a core funding rail. Clients expect money to move quickly and at low cost. Tempo was built for that: a payments-first Layer 1 with stablecoin-native fees, dedicated payment lanes for predictable costs during high activity, and settlement finality without re-orgs.
For Kraken clients, stablecoin funding is faster and simpler, without the overhead of managing a separate gas asset.
