Stablecoin payments are moving from pilots to production. That shift changes what institutions need from the underlying infrastructure. Speed and low fees matter, but so do predictable settlement, custody, liquidity, policy controls, fiat connectivity, and integrations that fit existing financial workflows. zerohash is joining Tempo as a validator and infrastructure partner to bring those pieces closer together for companies launching stablecoin programs inside their own products. zerohash brings an infrastructure layer already used by banks, fintechs, brokerages, payment companies, and platforms that are bringing stablecoin products to market.

"Tempo's validator set is designed to reflect the businesses that move money, and zerohash operates the infrastructure behind hundreds of banks, fintechs, and payment platforms," said Dan Romero, Chief Business Officer at Tempo. "Having zerohash on board as a validator to help secure the network, in addition to connecting with it, strengthens Tempo for every business using it to move money with stablecoins."

What zerohash does

zerohash provides the infrastructure companies use to launch crypto, stablecoin, and tokenized asset capabilities inside their own products. Its APIs and embeddable tools help partners add money movement, trading, tokenization, and fiat access without building the underlying stack themselves.

Behind those experiences, zerohash helps partners manage the operational pieces institutions need: access to supported assets and blockchain networks, custody, liquidity, compliance and transaction monitoring workflows, settlement, and fiat conversion. That lets companies build stablecoin products without managing every part of the stablecoin stack themselves.

By integrating Tempo, zerohash can give its partners access to a payment-focused network built for stablecoin settlement.

Validators should reflect payment infrastructure

Tempo’s institutional validator set includes companies such as Stripe, Visa, and Zodia Custody by Standard Chartered. It is designed to bring production payment experience closer to the network layer. Validators help secure Tempo, and they also reflect the institutions and infrastructure providers stablecoin payments need in order to scale responsibly.

“Tempo represents exactly the kind of ecosystem our partners need to move stablecoins at scale. It’s fast, predictable, and built for onchain velocity,” said Mark Daly, Chief Business Officer at zerohash. “Integrating Tempo, and further, having a role as a validator, puts zerohash even closer to the core of how this network operates, letting us bring that reliability directly to world-class institutions and platforms we serve.”

As a validator and integration partner, zerohash will sit closer to the network layer while giving its partners a practical way to access Tempo through existing infrastructure.

Why this partnership matters for customers

Together, Tempo and zerohash can reduce the distance between wanting to use stablecoins and being able to ship stablecoin products to customers. Banks, fintechs, brokerages, payroll platforms, payment companies, and marketplaces can access Tempo through infrastructure designed to fit regulated financial workflows.

For customers, that means faster access to Tempo, less need to build and maintain direct integrations across every network and asset, and a clearer path to launch stablecoin use cases such as cross-border payouts, payroll, merchant settlement, account funding, and trading.

What comes next

Tempo and zerohash will work together to make Tempo available to zerohash partners building stablecoin-powered products across payments, commerce, payroll, remittances, trading, tokenization, and on- and off-ramps.

The partnership reflects a simple view of where stablecoin payments are going: institutions need purpose-built settlement infrastructure, and they need partners that can make that infrastructure usable in production.
