What MoneyGram is building with Tempo
The partnership has two dimensions.
MoneyGram is joining Tempo's network as its first remittance validator, among a select group of institutions designated to validate transactions on the network. After 5+ years of building on blockchain rails, MoneyGram is now helping to secure the infrastructure it builds on.
On settlement, MoneyGram, Tempo, and Stripe plan to bring stablecoin settlement into live flows, with Stripe to settle to MoneyGram through Tempo using onchain infrastructure. This will enable more efficient treasury operations across MoneyGram's global footprint.
